Privacy & your data

Who can see your work

Your account is separate from other founders. FundRev’s authorized reviewers can access your work for quality assurance by default. You may turn this off when accepting your invitation or in Account & privacy. A platform administrator’s role does not override that choice in the application.

You may grant support access for a specific issue for 24 hours and revoke it at any time. Operational access to infrastructure is restricted separately; opting out of review does not remove the technical access needed to operate the service.

AI processing

When you request a draft or a follow-up, relevant answers and approved source profiles are sent through OpenRouter to the model providers configured by FundRev. Generation requires provider routing that denies data collection and requires zero data retention. Quality assurance permission is separate from the AI processing needed to provide the service.

Research for your dossier

The Founder IP Compiler researches general public topics through OpenRouter’s Exa search tool. It separates these topic queries from your private interview and removes account and company identifiers from queries. Search results support suggested Open Doors; they do not create a personal belief or endorsement for you. Search providers process queries under their own policies; the inference providers’ zero-retention routing does not apply to these searches.

Optional voice input

You can type your answers or choose to record them. Microphone access starts only when you select Record answer. While recording, audio is sent in short segments to Deepgram for English transcription with model-improvement opt-out enabled. Deepgram does not retain the recording or transcript after processing; it retains request metadata and usage logs. FundRev does not archive audio: temporary request files are removed after processing.

Recording stops after five minutes without detected speech, with a warning before stopping. You can stop earlier or continue speaking. Transcribed segments are combined when recording ends, then added to your editable answer and autosaved like typed text. Review it for accuracy before saving and continuing. Cancelling a transcription discards it in your browser but cannot undo processing that has already reached the provider. If processing fails, untranscribed segments remain in browser memory until you retry, discard, or leave the page. Saved text follows your normal quality assurance and deletion choices. Voice input does not clone your voice.

Optional live voice interviews

If you choose Start voice interview and agree to voice processing, ElevenLabs processes your microphone audio for transcription, turn-taking, and generated speech. Arena sends the conversation text and current interview question through its configured OpenRouter model for follow-ups. This mode does not require a separate Deepgram connection. Microphone use begins only with your permission and stops when the call ends.

Audio recording is disabled for Arena’s ElevenAgents interviewer. ElevenLabs transcripts and personal details are configured for scheduled deletion after one day; Arena requests earlier deletion after verifying completed call usage. Scheduled deletion is not immediate or Enterprise zero retention. Your editable transcript is saved privately in Arena for recovery and review, and uncommitted transcript drafts are cleared after 30 days. You decide what to save as an interview answer; AI replies are not saved as your source facts. Saved answers follow your normal quality assurance, public-use approval, and deletion choices. Live voice does not clone your voice.

Optional question audio

The speaker button sends only the current question text to ElevenLabs to generate an AI voice reading. Adaptive questions may include details from your interview. The rest of your interview is not included in the speech request. Playback is optional and stops before microphone recording begins. FundRev does not archive this generated audio; it remains in your page’s audio buffer for replay until you leave or the question changes.

ElevenLabs may retain question text and generated audio under its policies. FundRev can require ElevenLabs zero retention when its account is eligible. This setting is separate from FundRev quality assurance permissions. Audio usage records contain character counts and allowance estimates, not question text or audio.

Approval and public writing

Drafts require your review. Approval records the full version you saw. Public writing kits contain only sections and supporting material you explicitly clear for public use. Private exports are separately labeled. Downloaded copies are under your control; the app cannot recall them.

Retention and deletion

We retain active-account content until you request its removal. A deletion request disables access immediately and schedules removal of live content within 30 days. Backup copies must expire within seven days after live deletion. Restored environments must reapply deletion records before access is reopened.
